· Next logical step toward internationalization
· Successful sales model in France serving as the standard
Delbrück, 28 February 2008 – paragon AG is again leading the way toward
internationalizing its business and is opening a sales office in Italy.
From its location in Turin this direct supplier to the automobile industry
will be making even greater use of the available opportunities for growth
on the Italian market. 'This new office is our way of showing just how
important close cooperation with the Italian manufacturers really is. And,
increasing our exports is also important to us,' emphasized chairman and
CEO Klaus Dieter Frers.
paragon will be orienting its new location in Italy on the successful sales
model in France. It was by opening a sales office near Paris in 2004 that
the company was able to enter the French market with its air quality
sensors. paragon also provides application support on site, which ensures
that customers have a qualified point of contact in their own country for
any questions and issues they might have. In the meantime this model has
been adopted for the sales of automotive products in the United States
(Clio, Michigan site) and in Japan (Amagasaki City site).
paragon is pleased to announce that it has secured the highly experienced
Christian Patrick Ziegler for the newly created position of Italy sales
manager. Ziegler has been working for more than ten years in the automotive
sector and was most recently the sales and marketing manager for the
Magneti Marelli Group in Germany and Italy. From his offices in the
northern Italian city of Turin, Ziegler will be expanding the paragon sales
network in Italy and enhancing the familiarity and recognition of the
company’s brand as the systems partner of the automobile industry.
