"With his base of experience, Hans Zimmermann was of great service to our company over the last four years, and his efforts have helped us to achieve our success over this time. We are grateful to him for his contributions, and we wish him well," said Klaus Dieter Frers, CEO of paragon AG.
His successor, Lutz Eckstein, brings many years of professional experience in the automotive industry. Following completion of his studies in mechanical engineering, including a doctoral degree from the University of Stuttgart, Eckstein worked for ten years in research and development at Daimler AG, followed by five years in a management position at BMW Group in the electrical/electronic area. Following his election to the Supervisory Board, Professor Eckstein said, "With its innovations and its corporate tradition now stretching back more than 25 years, paragon is a particularly interesting company within the automotive supplier industry. I will contribute my expertise as best I can and will, in addition to oversight responsibilities, actively advise the company."
"I am delighted that we have been able to bring Professor Eckstein onto our Supervisory Board. Automotive engineering has been the guiding theme of his professional and academic career.
